Brief history
Lasting Impact Mission (LIM) was established in 2004 as a response to Jesus' commission to His disciples to take the Good News of forgiveness of sin and reconciliation with God through His death to all peoplee (Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8). At its inception, LIM began work in the DRC and Togo, by providing training to men and women who were serving in the ministry without any prior formal bible and ministry training. Some of these students would later go on to plant churches in their communities. By 2015 LIM has reached Congo Brazzaville, Ghana, and Sierra Leone. Currently we are represented in 7 countries on two continents: Africa and North America. Short-term mission trips have become one essential part of our ministry activities. We do this to help believers from all walks of life experience the joy of serving others. LIM believes that as we make ourselves available, God can use us to make a lasting impact in both people's lives as well as the communities they live in.

To share the Good News of salvation in Christ, plant churches, make disciples, and help alleviate human suffering along the way.

Core beliefs
We believe....
1. The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
2. Yahweh (the God of the Bible) is the Only True God there is, and He is the Creator of the universe and everything in it (Deut. 4:35; 6:4).
3. All human beings are created by Yahweh and are equal in worth regardless of their nationality, color, or culture (Galatians 3:28; Romans 2:11-16; Acts 10:28, 34–35).
4. Through the desobedience of the first human beings (Adam & Eve) all people became sinful; and because of their sins, they are exposed to God's righteous judgment with is death (Romans 3:23; 6:23).
5. That because God does not want anyone to perish in their sin, God sent Jesus Christ to die on the cross and pay for people' sins (Romans 5:8; 1 John 2:2; Romans 3:23).
6. By believing in Jesus, one is saved from the wrath of God and is reconciled with Him (John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 10:9-10).
