TOGO

Healthcare Facility

This past August 2021, a team of 5 LIM’s missionaries (one from Helena, Montana and four from San Antonio, Texas) were in Togo to take part in the launching of Innova Clinic – a small healthcare facility we’ve helped built in Sanguera, a poor community in the outskirts of Lome, the capital city. Due to unemployment, most people in Togo and most African countries do not seek medical care even for basic needs such as pregnancy, malaria, UTI, etc., that are still fatal in that part of the world. The clinic is up and running but very limited in the services it provides due to the lack of basic supplies, medical and laboratory equipments. We are hoping that by August next year it reaches full capacity if we were to get an ultrasound, an EKG machine, a portable XR machine, a blood gas/electrolyte analyzer.

School Building

While we were there, we also helped fund and supervised the construction of phase 2 (middle school) of Innova School at Adetikope. A month after our return, we were briefed that the building was 80% completed and school has resumed. We thank God for the realization of this project!

Church Planting

Our church planting effort is focusing on training and mentoring members from our existing churches that are mature enough to help disciple others. 14 members are currently undergoing this training and will be ready to begin their church planting adventure in early January. Pray with us for a monthly support and a motorcycle for each to succeed in this mission.

Thank you for praying, supporting, or partnering with us in the Great Commission!
